Resistance of Stainless Steel 304 Dish Cap Pipe Fittings increases with molybdenum alloy content, which is further resistant to sulphuric acid concentrations up to 5 percent at temperatures as high as 120 Degree F (49 Degree C). At temperatures under 100 Degree F (38 Degree C), these Stainless Steel 304 Long Radius Elbow has excellent resistance to solutions of higher concentration. However, service tests in Stainless Steel 304 Short Radius Elbow Pipe Fittings are recommended to account for the effects of specific operating conditions that may affect corrosion behaviour. In processes where condensation of sulphur – bearing gases occurs, these Stainless Steel 304 Elbow Pipe Fittings is much more resistant to attack at the point of condensation than conventional alloy 316.
